Neahkahnie Mountain provides a 3 mile hike with a very rewarding view of Manzanita, Nehalem Bay and Tillamook Bay. About a 900 feet elevation gain and a very family friendly hike.
Manzanita also provides a beautiful golf course which winds through dunes, neighborhoods, a small lake and is nearly beachside. It is 2,192 yards, a par 32 and has 9 holes.
The Tillamook Cheese Factory is approximately 2 miles North of Tilamook and is the 44th largest dairy producer in the United States. At the Tillamook Cheese Factory individuals can learn about the dairy processes that date back to 1851, taste and enjoy all of the wonderful dairy products.

What is the best time of year to be in Manzanita?
Manzanita is a great place to be all year! As far as weather goes, August is on average the warmest month and December is usually the coldest month of the year. November is typically the wettest month of the year in Manzanita.
Manzanita Farmers Market is every Friday in the Summertime, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Local vendors set up booths in the Kamali Sotheby’s International Real Estate parking lot starting in June and following through September. Produce, hand crafted items, ready to eat food, wineries and nonprofits can be found, along with live music.
The 4th of July parade is an annual parade that flows through the main street of Manzanita, and is not to be missed! A professional firework show follows shortly after the parade.
