Situated on the North Oregon
Coast just over 80 miles west of Portland, Cannon Beach is one
of the true jewels
of the Pacific Northwest. Cannon Beach is known to be one of the premiere coastal vacation destinations in the Pacific Northwest. The town population
is
around
1,600 and anual visitorship has been around 400,000 and growing
each year.
Cannon Beach was recently named the "number one family beach in the nation" in an MSN poll, and local establishments frequently receive recognition on the national stage. One of our best know establishments, The Stephanie Inn, has received top honors for the past two years by Conde Nast Magazine.
Cannon Beach is just four miles in length and has
an overall area of just about 1.5 sq-miles. At the center of the
beach you will not be able to miss Haystack Rock, the
third largest natural monolith in the
world
(pictured below). Because of the compactness of Cannon Beach and
proximity to Portland, its village like charm, and its incredible
natural beauty, real estate
values have shown extremely strong growth over the years. |
